We begin 2026 with an interview with a player who is not limited to a single world. Rica Rox is known for his active participation in high-level wars and for fighting on multiple servers, including Quelibra and Honbra, bringing with him not only high-level characters but also reputation, pressure, and real impact on the development of conflicts.
His name triggers immediate reactions: respect from some, rejection from others, and his entry into a war rarely goes unnoticed. As an ally or as an opponent, Rica Rox is a presence that changes dynamics, creates tension, and forces the server to take sides.
In this interview, which marks the editorial opening of 2026, we set aside cold numbers and rumors to listen to the player behind the character. We talk about his journey in Tibia, the mindset needed to endure prolonged wars, the weight of reputation, and the reality of fighting on multiple servers at the highest level.
More than an interview about victories or defeats, this is a conversation about leadership, adaptation, and survival in a Tibia in a permanent state of war.
1 – For those who know you only through your character: what is your real name and where do you play Tibia from?
-
My real name is Ricardo Jubran, and I live in São Paulo – SP.
2 – In real life, what do you currently do, and how do you balance that with the demanding pace of an active war?
-
I focus on my well-being, my family, and my work. Tibia, for me, is both entertainment and a competitive challenge.
3 – When did you start playing Tibia, and what first hooked you to the game?
-
I started around 2007 on the Guardia server (Non-PvP), on friends’ recommendation. I feel good playing, and I like Tibia’s legendary stories. I’m working to become a legend in this game and retire in peace.
4 – Looking back, was there any specific moment that made you think, “This game is different”?
-
People truly become their characters, and that makes everything different. We can feel the taste of victory and the pain of defeat—an absurd sense of power, even in a 2D game.
5 – Your character has a very striking name. Why “Rica Rox,” and what does it represent to you today?
-
“Rox” is an old gamer slang that means something like “very cool” or “awesome.” I chose it in honor of a former leader and friend, “rafarox,” who was very good in Old Tibia.
6 – Have you always been involved in PvP and wars, or was there a calmer phase before?
-
I was always a “charlover”: I liked making outfits, decorating my house, and having rare and beautiful items. Later I got deeply involved in wars, and today I don’t do that as much—but I have to get back to it, haha.
7 – How would you describe the current state of the war on your server, and what makes it different?
-
The war on Quelibra is very good because both teams enjoy PvP. What makes it different is the level of plays. Unprecedented things happen that will go down in Tibia’s history.
8 – In a real war, what matters more: the number of players or team discipline?
-
The number of people and strong, consistent leadership.
9 – In your experience, what is the most common mistake of opposing leaders in long wars?
-
Enemies have inflated egos and lack the humility to lead people.
10 – Do you think a player’s reputation can influence a war even before it starts?
-
Yes. Depending on the player and their influence, you already know the level and the duration of the war. Those without experience shouldn’t even join, haha.
11 – When the situation becomes critical, what role do you take within the team?
-
There has never been any doubt. My main role is to bring confidence to the team and show that we are different and hardworking.
12 – How do you deal with heavy defeats without letting them affect the team’s performance?
-
I really like learning from defeats and valuing them. With experience, we always become better.
13 – How important is map and schedule control compared to direct PvP?
-
Whoever knows the map well always has an advantage. Study the game.
14 – Was there any moment in this war that marked a turning point on the server?
-
The betrayals on both sides were very impactful. Tibia in 2025 was a real soap opera, haha.
15 – What would you say to someone who has never joined a war for fear of losses?
-
War in Tibia is very easy. Basically, the less you worry, the better you play.
16 – If this war ended tomorrow, what do you think the server would remember?
-
Neutral players would be grateful that there were no longer so many traps and carts.
17 – What does winning a war mean to you today compared to 10 or 15 years ago?
-
The feeling of winning is always great, but Old Tibia was better, because the game was smaller and hunts were more competitive.
We sincerely thank Rica Rox for sharing his story, vision, and experience with us, and for taking the time to be part of our section. It is a privilege to give voice to players who help build Tibia’s living history.
May there be more battles, more challenges, and more chapters to tell.
Hail TibiaGoals
