Player of the Month #26: Sara Sedentaria

Our Player of the month for September is Sara Sedentaria.

Have you ever wondered how the love for animals would be if it was a person?

If you want an idea, we introduce you to Sara, she promotes initiatives against animal abuse, she streams Tibia and other online games on Twitch, she has a big community, over 13k followers on her Instagram and 26k on her channel, she shares her day by day on her social media. TibiaGoals is very happy to have this amazing gamer, streamer and community influencer as our player of the month of September. 

Hello, could you introduce yourself? What's your name, where are you from.. etc?

-Hi! My name is Sara, or you can call me Sara Tibiana too, well that’s not my last name but that's how people know me :D I'm from Taubate, in the middle of Sao Paulo. I am 28 years old, doesn't seem, but

my back is hurting from the weight of the years ok?! Hahaha!

Who showed you Tibia for the first time and how old were you at that time?

-I learned about Tibia the first time through my brother Gabriel, as much as we fought when we were little, he was always my role model for everything, games, music.. I was around 9-10 years old, first he used me as his personal bot, and then he kept using me to win items! hahaha! Now imagine me, blonde with blue eyes, pretending to be 15! HAHAHAHA! 

How did you learn about the world of streaming Playing Tibia?

-Yes, I learned more about streaming while playing, I was around 15-17 years old, first I started to upload some stuff on YouTube, after that I continued with Tibia Cast, does anyone remember about it? And at the end of my Tibian career I started with Twitch, but I stopped playing after that, and on the pandemic I tried to come back and the idea of streaming too, but my Twitch account was hacked, so I started from zero! 

What's the story behind your character's name?

-Well, actually there's not much story, but one of my previous names did.. Elizabeth Shooter was Saah Noo Fakee that was my first main character, like playing for real, because I also played some OT servers and I didnt know much about the game (I still don't know because everything has changed haha) but on the OT’s they said I was fake because I was a girl, then I decided to create one on the real one saying I was not fake, what was the reason? I don't know hahaha!... Then I also had Senhoriita Pituliita, then I changed it to Sarah Caroline at the end of her life. With Senhoriita I had to pretend I was someone else, because I was HUNTED on that server and there were no world transfers at that time, when the lie was over they figured it out… F… after that I changed names, because it wasn't making any sense.. and my current character (that is not so new,it was just the only one I didn't sell) is Sara Sedentaria, this nickname is because my PT friends, they all had the Sedentario nick too, and because I am also sedentary, well it makes sense haha!.

How can you describe the experience of sharing the same passion of playing Tibia with your mom?

-It’s beautiful, this made us had a bigger conexion during my childhood/teens, we had that friends conexion playing together, I used to tell her everything that happened to me, and she used to do the same, the problem is that I always had problems in the game, and when they couldn't kill me, they used to go after her, poor dear!, she couldn't have a minute of peace!. 

We would like to know you more as a player, is there any other game you play besides Tibia?

-In my childhood/teen years I tried others like : Ultima Online, Age of Empires, Diablo, Lineage.. I want to play again just for the old times sake. 

But currently on stream, besides Tibia, I play some horror games ( I love horror).

My favorites at the moment are : The Forest, Phasmophopia, Devour and Poppy Playtime. 

Which platform did you choose to build the Tibian community you have right now, and why?

-Twitch, because I started many years ago, and also I think it's the best platform with Tibian viewers, because in comparison with other games, Tibia has an extremely small community. 

How do you get in touch with your followers? Interacting with you on the streams or DM’s?

-On LIVE and Instagram, I try to be as transparent as I can be. I always share in my stories everything that happens to me and I keep them informed, after all I think they are my friends and need to know everything about me. And in my LIVES I always try to interact with them as much as possible on the chat, including interfering with my game, after all, my followers are more important than getting max XP or a better profit. I rather have a good hunt and pay attention to my audience. 

Going back in time, is there any mission or quest that you remember as your favorite or less favorite?

-I think POI, because I used to love the service of this quest, I knew all the levers by heart, but now I have to confess, I need to watch spoilers to remember, after all it's been 10 years.. or more.. 

Is there any player/streamer you admire?

-I have too many!!! Buozzi, that he’s also from my city, managed to grow big in the community with Tibia. ImLizy, she is a warrior, she is always trying to do the best to get more audience and always trying to please them, and I'm so thankful for helping me when I got back with the LIVES. Bugado was my first leader back in the days, and I still have so much respect and affection for him, MC Tibiano, he was my inspiration through my Tibian years, I played listening to his songs. Guerrero Tetra, this guy inspires me just by existing.. there’s many people that I admire, that if I keep mentioning them I’ll never finish!.

How long did it take you to build your community on Twitch? 

-If we consider only this account, I'd have to say around 2 years. 

Besides being a gamer, streamer and a motivator, what's your RL profession?

-I'm a child photographer, I have my studio for babies and I'm also studying Forensic  Criminology. My dream is to become a Forensic Photographer or even a Forensic Expert, but I know how hard this is, because of the shortage of vacancies. 

What would you recommend to the girls that play Tibia and want to start streaming?

-¡Just be yourself! If you have free time, you like to communicate, and you like to play, do it! It doesn't have to be good, actually I'm really bad at playing, but I must confess I was really good, but like I said, Tibia has changed a lot! The important thing here is that what you're doing makes you happy. I think it is also important when you stream, try to make it while you are vibing, because everything you are feeling you transmit this to your audience too. Many times I stopped what I was doing in my life because it was making me feel bad, including playing Tibia.. Don't pay attention to haters, because they love when they make you feel bad, I'm speaking from experience.. I pretend everything was fine, I laughed at the situation (but inside wasn't like that, I was sad) they stopped bullying me, they even were my regular viewers on my lives, but when I was in a bad moment, emotionally speaking, I showed this was bothering me and they became worst, so there I decided to stop streaming Tibia, (It's been almost a year from this), but I'm better now and I'm back! 

We see you very active on Twitch and Instagram, and the community loves your content. If you could choose a new tool to create content including Tibia, which would it be?

-Well, to be honest I don't know which one I could pick because I love to do Lives and on the Stories too because I can show my reality.. When I think about recording something I get stuck. I don't like to follow scripts, I was thinking of creating content for YouTube or opening a TikTok, making reels, but I can't, I'm very limited when I can't be spontaneous.  

If you could pick an achievement to describe yourself, which would it be and why?

-Ok this is a joke “Baby Sitter” - You have cheered up a demon baby and returned it to its mother. A quick count of your fingers will reveal if you made it through unharmed. A reference of my job, when I have to calm the babies, they wont stop crying not even a minute hahaha, but at the end I always manage to make them stop with my tricks, and finish the photo shoot haha, but I'm just kidding! babies are little angels, and I love my job!. 

Anything you want to share with us about how you got such a huge community on IG and Twitch?

-I think it's because of my long Tibian career, I've been through so many servers, I had a lot of activity when Flogao, Tibia Space, Orkut were the moment, all those people grew up, then responsibilities came, I vanished, and then when I came back, I believe all those people had curiosity to watch me again.. 

If you could live in any city of Tibia in RL, which would it be?

-Svargrond, I love cold weather, but I don't like that because of this there's homeless people and animals suffering on the streets, but the sensation of cold suits me, because I'm allergic to sun/hot/sweat. 

Describe yourself as a player in 3 words.

-Avenger of the weak ( I used to protect all the low level at that time haha) Noob (nowadays) and Play for Fun <3

Do you remember dying in a funny way?

-Yes, recently I died by hitting with my finger the hotkey “Utito Tempo San” that was next to my SD hotkey, I had mana but I couldn't heal, and I didn't realized I used it, so I ran diagonal screaming that my hotkeys stopped working haha!.

Also there was this time (oldies) when I was going back from Dragon Lair from Fenrock, I map clicked on the Goblins part, and went to check my Flogao, and I forgot I was playing, and when I remember I was killed by goblins hahaha!

Have you ever needed to feel motivated to play Tibia?

-Currently yes, my friends try to motivate me all the time to make me play again, but I don't feel the same excitement like I used to, again, maybe because the game has changed a lot, I feel it lost its essence. 

Do you have some words for the community?

-Thanks a lot to all my followers that support me and help me in any way, I'm really thankful to all of you, thanks for helping me so many times, you don't have an idea how grateful I am! Thanks to my followers Moedaz and Tibia Blackjack, for believing in me since the moment I came back on Twitch.. and especially to my friends Flippcs and Maroto, and my most active and lovely mods Guinho, Athamires, Talhadas and Pedro.
